Privacy at Walnut Pages
Last updated 2026-10-18.
This notice covers walnutpages.com and how Walnut Automation LLC, doing business as Walnut Pages (we, us), handles information about the people who visit our sites, the businesses we contact and our customers. Questions about it go to hello@walnutpages.com.
The short version. We never sell anyone’s information. Our sites count visits without cookies or any ID. We find businesses through what they publish themselves, and one reply saying “stop” ends our emails for good.
Visiting walnutpages.com
This site counts visits and taps (like “tapped to call”) without cookies or any ID. We never store your IP address or browser details, location is never finer than your city, and the only thing kept in your browser is a “counted already” note that disappears when you close the tab. For each view or tap we keep the page or what was tapped, the day and hour, how you found the site (such as “Google search”), your city, region and country, and whether you’re on a phone, tablet or computer. We keep those records for three months, and only totals after that.
To stop being counted in a browser, open any of our pages once with ?notrack at the end of the address (for example walnutpages.com/?notrack). That browser then keeps a “don’t count me” flag, which is the same for everyone and can’t identify you.
Private previews
When we build a preview of a business’s new site, we send the business a private link to it. The preview counts visits the same way, and it also tells us when the preview was opened, from which city, on what kind of device and what was tapped, so we know whether to follow up. We keep those details for 120 days.
Businesses we contact
We find local businesses through what they publish themselves: their website, their listings and their own posts. For each one we record in our private customer database (our CRM) the business’s name, website, phone, address and an email address the business publishes, plus dated notes on what we sent and what they said. We record a person’s name only when the business publishes it or they sign an email with it. We never use people-search sites, personal social media profiles, or family or home details. We keep a record of every business we’ve contacted, so we don’t contact it again by mistake.
Stopping our emails. Reply “stop”, in any words, and we mark your business “Do not contact” the day we read it, for every address at that business. We keep that mark so we never write to you again.
Emailing us
Email you send us is kept in our mailbox at Zoho Mail. If you’re a business we’ve contacted or a customer, our system adds a dated note to our CRM with the email’s subject and a short summary, not the full text, and posts a notice in our internal Slack. If you’re not in our CRM, nothing is added to it; only the Slack notice is posted.
Customers
You pay through Stripe, on Stripe’s own page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us your name, email address, plan and whether each payment went through, and we keep those in our CRM.
What you send us, and what your site collects, we use only to run your site, and we never sell it. We delete it within 90 days after you leave, except billing records we must keep for taxes and our copy of your agreement (section 8(d) of our service agreement). Our AI tools help prepare the changes you ask for, working from what you send us.
The sites we build for businesses use the same cookieless counter, and the counts go into the owner’s monthly report.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare serves our sites, runs the visit counter and stores backups of our CRM.
- Supabase stores our CRM.
- Zoho runs our email.
- Stripe takes payments.
- Slack carries our internal notices.
- Anthropic provides Claude, the AI that helps us prepare site changes and draft emails.
Each of them handles information only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms. When we delete something, we delete it in these services too, but each one removes its own copies (such as its backups) on its own schedule, which we don’t control.
Deleting what we have
Ask us at hello@walnutpages.com to delete what we have about you or your business, and we will within 30 days. Two things stay: the “Do not contact” mark, so we never write to you again, and for customers, the billing records and agreement copy we must keep (above). Copies in our own backups expire within 30 days after that.
